Whatever I said yesterday about long weekends providing a breath from work… it was all lies! Although it may be a breath from work, it would appear the home repairs and family obligations abound, so it is all a wash. No rest for me. It is Sunday and I haven't had 8 hours sleep since last weekend. The long weekend appears to be here only to appease others and fix things, so next time I'm telling everyone I'm travelling.

But aside from all that…

Perhaps you know of the actor Jason Schwartzman? In addition to his acting career in such movies as The Darjeeling Limited, Rushmore, and I *Heart* Huckabees (all good, by the way), he has started his own solo music career under the name "Coconut Records". He also includes the occasional guest singer so it is not 100% solo, e.g. actress and singer Zooey Deschanel (who is also the "She" in "She & Him", by the way).

This song is all Jason's though and I would have to say he is on to something very good.
