Jon Hopkins – "Light Through The Veins" (2009)

"Light Through The Veins" is cool. I prefer Jon Hopkin's full 9+ minute version (above) to the edited for radio version (below), but I can understand if you're not up to the "commitment". (I commend WBER for playing the full version.) I frequently listen to music that is more ambient than not so I can concentrate on my work, and many of the songs go on and on, so I can understand if such music bores some people. These are not songs to sing along to. They are more like part of the soundtrack to your life. It is like an idea fully fleshed out, in the back of your mind, without words. A new feeling. A color with out a name.
