Unknown to some, I had managed to negotiate an extra week between the end of my old job and the start of my new one. That "week off" was last week. I didn't want anyone to derail that week thinking I was "available". It was much a much needed vacation. I invested in some serious R&R. I suck at R&R though so I also got a few things done around the house that were weeks or months overdue. e.g. Garden is planted. Hardwood floors are laid. Kitties are pet. G is kissed.
So that makes today my first day at my new job. I'm putting my new shoes on. Wish me luck!
