Insane Clown Posse – "Miracles" (2009)

I watched "Beef 2" last night. It was very much an addendum to the first "Beef" (a documentary on Hip Hop), and perhaps a little less extreme (no one spoke of being shot nine times). One of the extra bits was Insane Clown Posse (Violent J in particular) talking about a little beef they had with Eminem. It was interesting to hear him talk and rap, and how their style is still Hip Hop, but different. I think of Insane Clown Posse as "Hip Hop" for the WWF crowd (of coure it is easy to think that way with Violent J being a wrestler and all). They are certainly a separate Hip Hop from the many urban artists.
I was checking out some of their videos after the fact, and this one had by far the most hits. It is funny because it is very different than the harder harsher songs they usually write, and it reminds me of P.M. Dawn. I guess they've softened up a bit, or at least now have a wider perspective. Maybe because they have kids? I liked "Miracles" though. A feel good song from a couple clowns.
