I had an opportunity once to get into acting about 10 years ago. One of the others who had gathered got in my face about not taking it seriously enough. Clearly I didn't. I wanted it to be fun, and not so much work. Despite the director's plea that I stay and give it another chance, I left that night never to return.
…though sometimes I wonder… what if I had returned for the 2nd practice?
