I gave 3 weeks notice at my job. I'm too nice. I thought it would be nice to extend that happy "I'm leaving this job" feeling, but instead it kind of diffused it. Now is the start of week 3 and I am dreading that decision because I just want out of the place. Funny thing is I found out on Friday they usually request a 30 day notice! Ha! Those funny funny people.
Sad thing is I got this job not long ago, and it was good for a time. Then co-workers left and 3 people became 1, me. And it stayed that way for months and months, to the point where I just can't stand the place. So in pursuit of my happiness rising, I am off to the next opportunity next week. The grass may seem greener elsewhere, but I know it is just various shades of brown.
