Sometimes "The Song of the Day" selection is more like my song of yesterday. I heard this on the radio yesterday for the first time, though it came out a year ago. I loved it immediately and had to contact the station to find out who it was so I could pass it on to you now.
Oh and yes, it is a reference to 9/11's Ground Zero, but Chris Cornell said "To me, the song is about how awful 9/11 was, but stresses that we've got to let go of that to move on peacefully." Hear hear!
