Vivaldi – "The Four Seasons, Autumn, Concerto No. 3 in F major, Op. 8, RV 293" (1725)

Today is the Autumnal Equinox! In particular, listen to the third movement, "III. Allegro", which starts at 7m 5s. It can be so difficult to find a recording where they do not rush the third movement! It is to be stately and grand! Like the harvest, the seed collection that will allow us to survive another year, the beauty of the change of the leaves, and the grand low clouds that come with the crisp air. Autumn is in part about being proud of what has been accomplished, enjoying the benefits of the growth, preparing for the winter, and planning for life in the coming year! Good things! Now go find yourself some grape pie!
