with dark eyes and a hanging tongue
I take my work too seriously. I am the problem. I forget sometimes that you can cut the grass perfectly, but there is always that one rebellious blade and ultimately the grass is just going to grow wild again.
This past week has tweaked me a bit. Arguments with my coworkers over how things should be done, and then after giving up on that, a huge file server gone bad, leaving a huge mess for me to clean up, even though I had plenty to do beforehand. I need to reset the expectations placed upon me (largely by myself, I might add) and inform others of the reality. If they don't like it then maybe they should find me some assistance or replace me or something. They don't pay me enough to be their slave and I need my funny man drawing time.
