Florence + the Machine – "Cosmic Love" (2009)

For months now, I can't seem to help but listen to Florence + The Machine. I've been a huge October Project fan for years, and Florence + The Machine reminds me of them. Florence + The Machine has the sweeping ballads but with an edge that'll cut out your heart and drink your blood. Beautiful and dark.

I just can't wait for the next album, allegedly due this year!

Florence + the Machine – "Kiss With A Fist" (2009)

I could've sworn I had posted this song before… but no. It must've been a friend who posted it to me. (Thanks friend!) I've been posting songs every day for long enough that I am starting to forget what I have and have not posted. Or I am getting old. Then again, you try to keep over 500 songs straight!

Anyway, I love this one! Burning beds. Breaking plates over heads. This one is fun for the whole family! And I think it embodies a little of what G tells her married friends about dealing with their husbands… allow me to paraphrase: "You should yell at him! That's why you get married!" …I'm ok with it. I kind of like being in trouble. Heh.
