Tears For Fears is coming to my neck of the woods for a concert this week. I have a conflict so to speak so I cannot go anyway, but even if I could I am always hesitant to see bands who had their moment decades ago. I am fearful of thinking of them as the older artists they are now, clinging to past success. And yes, I realize they are still producing albums, still I am afraid to even try them out. It is so much more convenient to think of them as though it is still 1985.
