Nevermind what I said yesterday. Something in me has certainly changed though. Perhaps for the better? Making other people happy just doesn't seem to have the same appeal it once did. It kind of just makes me mad. Nor am I content spending hour after hour doing a single thing. I get anxious. I'm wondering if I am more like a 5 year old now, than when I was 5 years old.
PS: I'm surrounded by family and at times they are driving me crazy. I'm sure you all understand what I am talking about!
Whatever. Time for some sabotage.

Rage Against The Machine – "Bulls on Parade" (1996)

I'm already hating on the system today. The police report from our accident is considerably more vague about who was responsible than I would've liked. e.g. No ticket was issued to the other driver. I believe this has already resulted in some persistent calls from insurance companies, though I refuse to talk to any but my own.
At the same time the rental car company gave me a Nissan Altima. Thumbs down!!! It felt like the steering wheel and the actual wheels had very little to do with each other. Boo Nissan! Boo! I had to take it back and get a different car. It seemed like another accident was definite had I kept it! They gave me a white Hyundai Sonata. Acceptable, but I'll be happy to return it.
Meanwhile I've been informed it may be a while before I hear from the adjuster. And then my insurance company may not actually allow me the rental car long enough to get a replacement car. But the one thing has to happen before the other can truly begin! Taking the bus is looking like a viable option.
To top it off all my muscles have been realizing what happened and are tying themselves into nice knots. My braking leg in particular is solid. I am waiting for it to snap and make a "SPROING" sound like a spring recoiling. This sucks.

Sometimes I hate my job. Or at least I hate working on certain things at my job. I had to do it all yesterday so every chance I had I put on the headphones I did and I cranked up some Rage Against the Machine. I know this song is a popular choice but it is so perfect for hating on corporate tasks you don't want to do, and after listening to all four of their albums yesterday in the process, this song is still my favorite from Rage Against the Machine.

Beastie Boys – "Body Movin'" (1998)

It is time for some Body Movin'! I picked up the Beastie Boys late in the game (late-90s), which is probably why I favor their later work over the 80s works. This bonus song of the day has always stuck out to me as one of my favorites.
For the record, all the bonus songs of the day so far were the primo "song of the day" before I started this blog. I am already thinking that I will need to continue the "bonus song of the day" posting though because I have A LOT of musical ground yet to cover, and 365 posts a year are probably not going to cover it. (Crazy, I know! But I have only just begun!)
