This song was stuck in my head as I awoke today. I must be dreaming a lot about the late 90s these days.
Before her albums in English came out, before the real hype took over, I heard Shakira's album "¿Dónde Están los Ladrones?" while I was in Boston. I was kind of saddened by her subsequent English albums and the more manufactured sound. This album really impressed me though even though I know only a dozen or so Spanish words (I took French and German in school). If you're a fan of Shakira and you don't have this album because you listen to the English only songs, then you're not really a fan.
