G and I have a stray black cat whose owner has failed to find us and him. The cat definitely had an owner at one point because he is fixed. We do not know if we are keeping him or finding him a new home. He cries a lot for companionship and for freedom from the quarantine of our bathroom. I keep wondering, "is today the day we will break his spirit and he will accept that he is an indoor cat?" Of course no, today in particular probably isn't because we are having the vet fix his eyelid. His eye was goopy from pink eye and got so bad that now he needs his eye lid fixed. He is only a year old, burly, meaty and full of life. He is like a bull in a china shop. Fixing him and finding him a home, possibly ours, has become our mission. More to come…
