I really only know a couple of Squeeze's songs after 1982 (e.g. "Tempted", which I almost selected over "Goodbye Girl"). I have their "Singles – 45's and Under" compilation of their very early works, but apparently after many break up and reformations, they are still out there pumping out singles. I always think of the songs on "Singles – 45's and Under" as influential in my musical tastes because I bought it early on in my music collection and "Goodbye Girl" is solid and perfect in mood for this easy going Sunday morning.
