The Submarines – "Submarine Symphonika" (2008)

2010/03/26

I still have "Submarine Symphonika, "the first song from The Submarine's "Honeysuckle Weeks", stuck in my head from a couple of days ago. It is sunny outside. The sun shining on this Friday. Blue skies, as I struggle to be optimistic about the weekend. It has been a long week and I am likely going to have to work over the weekend to not fail. I do hate failure. One of my weaknesses I suppose.

By the way, this song totally reminds me of The Cardigans. Something about her voice in this song.

The Submarines – "You, Me & The Bourgeoisie" (2008)

2009/09/17

I have had a very productive morning, somehow without coffee. Unusual. Disturbing. Perhaps it is the crisp cool air. Perhaps I'm just feeling good. Perhaps I spent last night playing the drums, and also my new midi-piano keyboard, instead of housework.

I think this song covers the true feeling…

Everyday I wake up,
I choose Love
I choose Light
And I try, it's too easy just to fall apart

Oh and by the way, you are not crazy. You DO know this song from being played a gazillion times on those iPod commercials.
