This album came out just last week, and after "Ariel", the first single from the album "Matilda", which came out last year, I had expected something more upbeat. The truth is the album's overall melancholy, ambient and soulful sound is perfect for the wet depression that is the Month of March here in Upstate, NY. As the freezing rain hits my windshield, I have a sound to accompany me as I journey to a warmer, drier place, I like to call "April".
